10. The "Muravey" portable laser therapeutic device

Device and principle of the operation

"Muravey" is a portable and small-size device. It has an array of 10 pulse laser diodes. These diodes serve as radiating elements that work at a wavelength of 0.89 ?m. The maximum pulse radiation power ranges from 50 to 80 W (the power may be adjusted from zero to the maximum). The pulse repetition frequency is 80 Hz, and it can be modulated at a low frequency of 2.4 Hz. The device has an autotimer and visual-acoustic indicators that show the time of the procedure’s start and termination. The power is supplied through a battery of the 1604A type or a 9-V supply-line adapter. An LCD display shows the radiation power rate, procedure time, and level of battery discharge. The device is protected against an accidental switch-on. When the device is idle for a long while, it automatically switches off. For laser-magnetic therapy purposes, the mirror magnets of MM50 and MM100 types (with an induction of 50 and 100 mT) can be supplied at an extra charge. The device weighs 0.2 kg only, and it can be easily placed on a palm.
